Hacktivist cyber activities related to the Israel-Hamas conflict have slowed down, with some groups ceasing to plan attacks and others focusing on targets outside of Israel. Several hacktivist groups had previously made plans to attack or identified targets, but many have become silent or started selling attack services. The Dark Storm Team, a pro-Palestinian group, initially claimed it would attack Israel infrastructure but is now promoting DDoS-as-a-service options. Hacktivist group SiegedSec took responsibility for attacks on Israeli infrastructure, while Solomon’s Ring, a pro-Palestinian hacktivist channel, has not claimed any attacks recently. KillNet Palestine, potentially linked to the Russian group KillNet, hasn’t posted new content since its formation announcement.
Based on the meeting notes, the hacktivist cyber activities related to the Israel-Hamas conflict have significantly slowed down. Several hacktivist groups that previously planned attacks or identified targets have fallen silent or shifted their focus towards selling attack services.
Dark Storm Team, a pro-Palestinian group, initially claimed to be planning attacks on Israel’s infrastructure and European allies but has since reverted to promoting DDoS-as-a-service options. SiegedSec, another hacktivist group, has claimed responsibility for attacks on Israeli infrastructure and industrial control systems.
Solomon’s Ring, a Persian language-speaking pro-Palestinian hacktivist channel, has not claimed any attacks since October 8. Despite its claims of hacking and stealing data from an Israeli data center, there is no evidence or leaks of such data.
KillNet Palestine, which could potentially be a division of the Russian hacktivist group KillNet, has not posted any new content since announcing its formation on October 13.
