Industrial cybersecurity company Dragos has found no evidence of a data breach after ransomware group BlackCat and Alphv claimed to have hacked their systems through a third party. Dragos stated that while they take such claims seriously, their investigation has not produced any evidence of a compromise. This is not the first time such false claims have been made against Dragos.
According to the meeting notes, Dragos, an industrial cybersecurity company, reported that there is currently no evidence of a data breach after being targeted by a ransomware group called BlackCat and Alphv. The group threatened to publish information about Dragos executives unless they were contacted within 24 hours. Dragos has launched an investigation into the matter and emphasized that they take data protection seriously. They have not been directly contacted by the hackers and have not found any evidence of a compromise. This is not the first time that false claims have been made against Dragos by ransomware groups. In a previous incident, Dragos confirmed a limited data breach, but attempts to extort the company failed.
