Cybercrime groups originally focused on the war in Ukraine have now turned their attention to the Middle East in the wake of the Hamas strikes against Israel. Multiple threat groups, including Killnet, Anonymous Sudan, Team Insane, Mysterious Team Bangladesh, and Indian Cyber Force, have declared their intention to launch disruptive attacks against Israel, Palestine, and their supporters. Cyberattacks, such as those claimed by Anonymous Sudan against The Jerusalem Post and by Sylhet Gang against the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, have caused operational disruptions. These groups’ operations can have significant impacts on both physical and digital realms, potentially influencing the events in the Israel-Palestine conflict.
