Eight companies, including Crowe Indonesia Teknologi and Grant Thornton Consulting CJSC, have attained accreditation as cybersecurity service providers for Dubai’s “Cyber Force” initiative. The initiative, in collaboration with CREST and Dubai’s Electronic Security Center, aims to enhance cybersecurity measures and make Dubai the safest city in the digital space. Initially, the program will focus on penetration testing and incident response services.

Following the recent meeting, it was noted that eight companies have become the first accredited cybersecurity service providers involved in the “Dubai Cyber Force” initiative. These companies, which include Crowe Indonesia Teknologi, FORTBRIDGE, Grant Thornton Consulting CJSC, ITSEC Services Asia, LRQA Nettitude, Precursor Security, Ruptura InfoSecurity, and ValueMentor, received accreditation through CREST, an international nonprofit representing the global cybersecurity industry, in collaboration with Dubai’s Electronic Security Center (DESC). This accreditation allows the companies to register as cybersecurity service providers for the Dubai government, semi-government, and critical information infrastructure.

The initiative, announced last March, aims to position the Dubai Cyber Force as an internationally recognized reference to enhance Dubai’s cybersecurity posture and make it the safest city in the digital space. Initially, the program will focus on delivering penetration testing and incident response services.

Amer Sharaf, CEO of the Cybersecurity Systems and Services Sector at the DESC, indicated that the initiative aligns with Dubai’s cybersecurity strategy, combining global measures with Dubai’s specificities and leadership in innovation and integration.
