Based on the meeting notes, the ransomware group RansomHub has claimed to have stolen over 100 gigabytes of data from the Florida Department of Health, including PII and PHI. The agency was added to the group’s Tor-based leak site after missing a ransomware payment deadline. The leaked data includes a wide range of sensitive information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and health-related details. The Florida DOH confirmed it was dealing with a cybersecurity incident that disrupted multiple department services. RansomHub was also responsible for recent attacks on Frontier Communications and Christie’s, and was the third most active ransomware group in May, accounting for 22 incidents.
