Based on the meeting notes, it appears that Pavel Kublitskii and Alexandr Khodyrev, both Russian and Kazakhstan nationals, were charged with conspiracy for trafficking in unauthorized access devices and the possession of 15 or more unauthorized access devices.
After arriving in Florida and requesting asylum from authorities, which was granted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they began displaying a lavish lifestyle without appearing to be employed. This prompted an investigation by the FBI, revealing their involvement in the Dark Web on platforms such as WWH Club, Skynetzone, Opencard, and Center-Club.
The FBI discovered that the duo was involved in activities on these platforms, allowing cybercriminals to buy, sell, and trade login credentials, malware, financial credentials, and sensitive information. They also provided cybercriminal training.
It was determined that the pair shared the username ‘Makein’ and were believed to be responsible for cybercrimes committed under that persona. Pavel Kublitskii has been arrested, while Alexandr Khodyrev’s status is currently unknown.
